BJP National Secretary and Delhi Cabinet Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa today strongly condemned attack by Pakistani Army on Gurdwara Singh Sabha Syndicate Mohalla in Poonch in which its Raagi Singh Bhai Amrik Singh and other members of the Sikh community including Bhai Amarjeet Singh and Bhai Ranjit Singh and humanitarian workers and said that this shows cowardly attitude of the Pak Army.
In a statement issued here today, Manjinder Singh Sirsa disclosed that he has talked with Sardar Narinder Singh President of the Gurdwara Sahib and have assured all possible help for the affected families. He said that Gurdwara Sahib is totally safe in this attack and those who have died were sitting in their shops and houses.
He said that members of the Sikh community were in high spirits and have full faith in Government of India that it will take revenge from Pakistan on this attack on Gurdwara Sahib.
He said that he was deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Bhai Amrik Singh Ji, the devoted raagi of Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Syndicate Mohalla who was killed in unprovoked Pakistani cross-border firing in Poonch. This brutal attack also took the lives of two other Sikh brothers and innocent civilians, Bhai Amarjeet Singh and Bhai Ranjit Singh.
This is not just a loss for their families and the Sangat, but an assault on our faith and humanity. Their sacrifice will not be forgotten – the nation stands united and will deliver a strong and just response.
He prayed to almighty that may Waheguru bless their souls and grant strength to their loved ones.
