BJP Sikh leader Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa has strongly condemned attempt of sacrilege at Sri Darbar Sahib in Amritsar today and asked Punjab Government to unearth conspiracy behind the incident.
In a strong worded statement issued here today, Mr. Sirsa said that this incident has sent shock waves throughout the world as never in history of Sri Darbar Sahib such attempt has been made. He said that failure of the Congress government to solve sacrilege cases has resulted in repeat of such incidents. He said that it should also be probed why such incidents occur at the time when elections are round the corner ? He said that history of Congress has forced Sikhs to point a finger towards it.
Mr. Sirsa also asked SGPC to probe this incident at its own behalf. He said that CCTV cameras should be checked as how and with whom this man entered Sri Darbar Sahib and whether people left him alone after sending him inside Sanctum Sanctorium.
He said that it is history of the Congress party shows that it won’t act on sacrilege, Government of India will extend every support to SGPC to unearth whole conspiracy behind this incident which should be condemned in strongest possible words.
