New Delhi, October 9, 2019 (Yes Punjab News)

The Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) President and the Shiromani Akali Dal National Spokesman Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa today disclosed that the Centre Government has filed a affidavit in the Delhi High Court informing the court that except two all the names have been removed from the Black List.

In a statement issued here today, Mr. Sirsa said that the Centre government has informed the HC about the review done by the review committee. He said that now only two names are remaining on this list. He also disclosed that after Centre’s reply the honorable court has dismissed that petition with special directive that the status quo should be maintained on names omitted from the list.

The SAD leader said that the Shiromani Akali Dal and the DSGMC were struggling since long for getting these names omitted from the list and the SAD President Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal and Union Minister Mrs. Harsimrat Kaur Badal played a key role in the issue. He said that now when finally the matter has been disposed off by the court, we are expecting that all these Sikh brothers whose names have been removed from the list, will be able to travel to the country and will be able to meet their families at home.

Mr. Sirsa again urged the Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh to ensure that the Punjab police do not harass them in the name of the past incidents and they are treated with all the dignity.
