Sikh Welfare Council provides financial aid to family whose 5th member committed suicide due to debt

Ludhiana based Sikh Welfare council has donated fifty thousand cash to family whose fifth member have committed suicide due to debt. Lovepreet Singh of village Tallewal in Barnala  district has committed suicide due to debt. He was the fifth member of the family who has committed suicide due to debt. The family has occupation of farming.

Chairman of Sikh Welfare Council, Baljinder Singh Jindu said that they were pained to know about the suicide of fifth member of farmer’s family due to debt. The members of Sikh welfare council decided to provide financial aid to the family and initially they have handed
over Rs 50,000 to the family.

Baljinder Singh Jindu said that the condition of family is very upset and government and administration has not provided any help to the family. He further said that they will also take the responsibility of education of the children’s of the family.

The members of council who visited the family were Amritpal Singh, Parwinder Singh, Mohan Singh, Harwinder Singh, Kulvir Singh, Tamanjit Singh, Jagjit Singh and Amandeep Singh.
