Amritsar, July 23, 2021 (Yes Punjab News)
SGPC president Bibi Jagir Kaur has strongly condemned the violation of Maryada (conduct) and the honour of the Guru’s house with the show of strength by Navjot Singh Sidhu who visited Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib to pay obeisance yesterday (on Thursday).

SGPC president Bibi Jagir Kaur said, “The manner in which the Congress leaders showed their strength and entered the Guru’s house (Sri Harmandar Sahib) has hurt the sentiments of the Sikh community. It is a tradition to enter the Guru’s house with humility.

But Navjot Singh Sidhu along with Congress MLAs and office-bearers did not observe the Maryada (conduct) inside the perambulation (of Sri Harmandar Sahib). The political leaders must take care of the traditions and reverence of the Guru’s house while visiting this holy shrine.”
