Commenting on the power crisis in the state, Punjab Congress Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu Sunday sought to ‘guide’ the Charanjit Singh Channi-led Punjab Government.
He said that the state must prevent and prepare, rather than repent & repair.
Sidhu took to Twitter to suggest what to do to tackle the crisis. He said, “Private Thermal Plants flouting guidelines punishing domestic consumers by not keeping coal stock for 30 days should be penalized.”
“It is time to aggressively work on Solar PPAs & roof-top solar connected to the Grid.”, he said.
