SGPC chief Jagir Kaur, other panthic leaders visit Jathedar Vedanti’s family, offer condolences

On the demise of Giani Joginder Singh Vedanti, former Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president Bibi Jagir Kaur visited his residence and offered her condolences to the family.

Bibi Jagir Kaur shared her grief with Bibi Harbhajan Kaur, wife of Jathedar Vedanti and family member Bhai Jagbir Singh and recalled the Panthic services of the former Jathedar.

SGPC president said that Jathedar Joginder Singh Vedanti was a great personality of the Sikh Panth.

Meanwhile, Giani Jagtar Singh, head granthi of Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib also offered his condolences to the family of Jathedar Vedanti and prayed for the departed soul.

Many Panthic dignitaries reached the residence of Jathedar Vedanti and shared their grief with his family including SGPC senior vice president S. Surjit Singh Bhitewad, member Bhai Manjit Singh Bhurakohna, Bhai Ajaib Singh Abhayasi, Bhai Ram Singh Damdami Taksal, Akali leader S. Talbir Singh Gill, Prof Waryam Singh, S. Inderjit Singh Gogoani, Giani Ravel Singh, SGPC additional secretary S. Sukhdev Singh Bhurakohna, assistant secretary S. Sakatar Singh, manager Sri Darbar Sahib S. Gurinder Singh Mathrewal, and OSD to SGPC president Dr Sukhbir Singh.
