Bibi Jagir Kaur, President, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) today at SGPC office handed over appointment letters to 40 ex-servicemen for service in Sewa Dal. Addressing the ex-servicemen on the occasion, Bibi Jagir Kaur said that the service of the Guru’s house comes with great luck.
She said that Gurdwara Sahibs are associated with the religious sentiments of the Sangat (community) and millions of devotees from all over the world visit Gurdwara Sahibs every day. She said that in order to ensure that the Sangat makes a good impression; all should perform their due service in fear and sentiment towards the Guru.
On this occasion SGPC additional secretary S. Sukhdev Singh Bhurakohna, S. Sukhminder Singh, assistant secretary S. Kulwinder Singh Ramdas, S. Balwinder Singh Kahlwan, S. Tejinder Singh Padda, S. Simarjit Singh Kang, OSDs to SGPC President Dr Amrik Singh Latifpur and Dr Sukhbir Singh, superintendent Malkit Singh Beharwal, and S. Harbhajan Singh Vakta were present.
