The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has strongly condemned the incident of robbery with Giani Daya Singh, a Granthi serving at birthplace of Guru Nanak Dev, Gurdwara Sri Nankana Sahib in Pakistan.
Advocate Dhami said that in the past too, several incidents of injustice with minority Sikhs have taken place in Pakistan, due to which, the Sikhs living there feel insecure.
He said that the incident of robbery of Bhai Daya Singh at gunpoint, who was on his way to Gurdwara Sacha Sauda from Gurdwara Nankana Sahib with his companion Sikh, is a despicable act to frighten the Sikhs there.
Advocate Dhami demanded that the culprits of this crime should be arrested immediately and appropriate action should be taken so that the feeling of alienation does not develop among the Sikhs there.
