The Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) on Tuesday suffered a major jolt in Moga when its social media district president, Vikramjit Singh Ghatti, joined the Aam Aadmi Party.
Party spokesperson and halqa president Navdeep Singh Sangha informed that Vikramjit Singh Ghatti joined the AAP in Sangrur in the presence of party president and Member of Parliament Bhagwant Mann.
Speaking on the occasion, Vikramjit Singh Ghatti said that he was greatly impressed by the path-breaking people-centric decisions of the AAP Supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the way Bhagwant Mann raised issues and concerns of the state in Parliament and the proactive role being played by the AAP as the principal opposition party in Punjab assembly.
It is worth mentioning that Ghatti had been the district president of the SOI (Soi) and the BC wing of the Akali Dal (Badal).
