Senior Congress leader Mohinder Singh Gullu has sought a Congress ticket from Jalandhar Central constituency.
The Congress leader submitted his application for 35-Jalandhar Central constituency in Punjab Congress Bhawan at Chandigarh.
Gullu is the son of Sardar Mohan Singh who was one of the most popular councilors from the city and served as councilor of his area from 1972 to 1993.
Gullu, himself served as Trustee of Jalandhar Improvement Trust from 1994 to 1997 and as a Councillor from 1997-2002.
He also served as Senior Vice President of the Jalandhar District Congress Committee in 2007 and Secretary of PPCC in 2012.
He is currently the Director of Punjab Agro Exports Corporation Ltd since 2019.
Gullu’s wife Kanwaljit Kaur Gullu is a sitting Congress Councillor. She has won four times in a row and had been serving Congress as a Councillor from 2002 till date.
