The Punjab Government led by Charanjit Singh Channi has appointed senior advocate APS Deol as next Advocate General of Punjab.
It may be recalled that former Advocate General Atul Nanda, who had a controversial tenure as AG, had resigned after Capt Amarinder Singh quit as Chief Minister of Punjab.
Deol, a senior Advocate, had been representing former DGP Sumedh Singh Saini in various cases registered against him.
