The District-Level Committee led by Deputy Commissioner Ms. Komal Mittal, today, approved incentives under the Industrial Policy-2022 for two new industrial units in the district. The approved units include Jai Parvati Forge and Vaporo Packaging Ltd.
The Deputy Commissioner informed that these units have brought in fresh investments of Rs 35 crore in Mohali district. One of the units has been granted Stamp Duty Reimbursement, while the other has been provided seven years’ exemption from Electricity Duty.
Ms. Komal Mittal emphasized that under the Industrial Policy-2022, Mohali district is witnessing significant new investments, and all upcoming units should avail themselves of the maximum benefits under this policy.
After the meeting, GM Industries, Mr. Maninder Singh, stated that two cases were approved today — one unit has been granted Stamp Duty Reimbursement and the other unit has been provided Electricity Duty exemption for seven years.
In addition, the Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the pending regulatory cases on the Invest Punjab Portal and directed the concerned departments to ensure timely approvals in line with the State Government’s policy of giving priority to industries.
