The Sanyukt Samaj Morcha led by farmer leader Balbir Singh Rajewal, which is going to contest all 117 Assembly seats along with an arrangement with Gurnam Singh Chaduni-led Sanyukt Sangharsh Party, has announced the appointment of seven spokespersons.
These include Prof Manjit Singh who has been named Chief Spokesperson. The others include Professor Santokh Singh, Tarlochn Singh Lalli, Prof Jagroop Singh, Jangvir Singh Chauhan, Mukesh Chander Sharma and Manjit Singh Rai.
The SSM has left 10 seats for Gurnam Singh Chaduni’s party and will be contesting 107 seats on its own.
Rajewal said the SSM has till now announced 57 candidates. Chaduni’s party has also announced 9 of its 10 candidates, so far.
