Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann should do serious introspection on losing his Sangrur bastion barely three months after coming to power in the state, SADD chief Paramjit Singh Sarna observed as he congratulated Sardar Simranjit Singh Mann on his Lok Sabha victory.
“People from the CM’s village, his district, and his constituency didn’t vote for AAP’s candidate. Why? The chief minister should do some serious introspection,” the SADD leader said. “He should reflect back on the choice of Punjab’s Rajya Sabha candidates his party boss made and he endorsed. He should reflect back on how every minister and MLA from his party is bossed over by the AAP high command and its agents from New Delhi.”
The Panthak leader advised the chief minister to treat the Sangrur verdict as a clarion call from all over Punjab, which finds his government as a puppet regime controlled by the Delhi government.
“Learn to take a stand in favour of Punjab, Punjabi and Punjabiyat. Learn to act like a spirited Punjabi and not as a second fiddle to your party boss. Learn to take a stand on Bandi Singhs and follow it up with unwavering determination. And learn to stand beside the Panth,” the SADD chief told the CM.
Else, it’s better to quit than work like a subordinate to a chief minister of a municipal state like Delhi, the SADD leader said.Subscribe to YesPunjab Telegram Channel & receive important news updates
