SAD Committee to visit MP & UP to help Sikhs facing eviction and police persecution

A three-member SAD committee comprising of senior leaders S Balwinder Singh Bhundar, Prof. Prem Singh Chadumajra, and Shri Naresh Gujral will soon visit Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh to help the Sikhs who are being prosecuted by evicting from their houses & fields as well as slapping fake police cases against them by local administrations.

Giving this information, SAD spokesperson Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema said that the party has decided to provide immediate help to the Sikhs facing serious problems in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh in the wake of recent developments.

“Three senior SAD leaders S. Bhundar, Prof. Chandumajra, and Shri Gujral will soon visit the MP and UP to help those Sikhs who are being targeted by the local administration for no fault of them,” he said adding that the SAD provide every help to them to counter the danger looming over their houses and livelihoods.

Giving further details, the SAD leader said that nine houses and around 200 acres of land belonging to Sikh families in Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh was being snatched from the Sikh families by terming it ‘a property illegally encroached upon’ by the local administration.

In another incident, false cases were slapped against 55 Sikh devotees who were participating in a Nagar Kirtan at Pilibhit in Uttar Pradesh. “The SAD committee members will visit both places and take up cases of the victims appropriately.
