The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president Bibi Jagir Kaur has strongly condemned the sacrilege of holy Gutka Sahib in Bathinda.
Bibi Jagir Kaur said that holy Gurbani embraces the whole world, but sadly some people try to spoil the peaceful atmosphere of Punjab by disrespecting it.
She said that this incident has deeply hurt the Sikh sentiments.
She said the sacrilege of holy Gutka Sahib cannot be tolerated at any cost, so the culprits should not be spared.
Bibi Jagir Kaur said that in most of the cases no action was taken even after the culprits were caught. She also said that the accused should not be let loose in any way and they should be questioned strictly.
SGPC president demanded severe punishment for those who committed this sacrilege of Gutka Sahib.
