Ravinder Singh Gill, a Regional Transport Authority (RTA) officer posted in Chandigarh and having additional charge of RTA Jalandhar, was found dead in the bathroom of his flat here on Tuesday. He was 54.
According to preliminary information, Gill is suspected to have suffered a heart attack. However, officials said the exact cause of death will be established only after the post-mortem examination.
Police officials said Gill was living with his driver Pargat Singh in his flat at Jalandhar Heights–2. When he failed to come out of the washroom of his flat, his driver and gunman became concerned and entered the washroom.
