RSS agenda would not be allowed in schools, says Punjab Youth Congress chief Brinder Singh Dhillon

Chandigarh, Feb 5, 2020 (Yes Punjab News)
Punjab Youth Congress (PYC) President Brinder Singh Dhillon today took strong notice of Sarvhitkari Vidya Mandir aided by RSS in various towns of Punjab forcing students to endorse Citizen Amendment Act (CAA) and taking the signatures of school students in support of divisive Act passed by BJP government at center.

In a hard hitting statement issued here Dhillon said that RSS would not be allowed to pollute the innocent minds and demanded action against school authorities indulging in such activities.

He said that PYC would take up the matter with the Chief Minister and Education minister seeking to cancel affiliation of schools implementing RSS agenda. He said that it was serious matter and youth congress will take it to logical end.

Dhillon further said that authorities of Sarvhitkari school in Dhanaula in Sangrur district had taken the signatures of student son banners “We support CAA” on January 15, 2020 without the consent of parents of students. He said that it has come to their notice that similar practice was going on other schools affiliated to RSS.

He said that all these schools had obtained affiliation from Punjab School Education Board or the Central Board of Education. He said that the action of school management was violation of rules and regulations under which they were granted affiliation.

PYC chief said that Punjab Congress and Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh had taken clear stand against the CAA and Vidhan Sabha in an unanimous resolution has rejected the CAA. He said that BJP was hell bent to divide the nation on communal lines and working against the interests of minority communities. We will give a befitting reply to RSS and BJP, he added.
