state-level review meeting has been called by the Recruitment Committee formed by Sri Akal Takht Sahib for the revival of the Shiromani Akali Dal. Committee members include Sardar Manpreet Singh Ayali, Jathedar Gurpratap Singh Wadala, Jathedar Iqbal Singh Jhunda, Jathedar Santa Singh Umaidpuri, and Bibi Satwant Kaur.
In the official statement, the committee said that the membership campaign for reviving the Shiromani Akali Dal has received an overwhelming response from across the state. People from every district, Lok Sabha constituency, and Vidhan Sabha area have actively stepped forward and pledged their support to strengthen their regional party and its Panthic representation in politics.
To review the progress of the recruitment drive so far, a state-level meeting has been organized. All active leaders and workers from across Punjab are invited to attend. This review meeting will take place on Thursday, May 22 at 2:30 PM, at Kartar Asra Trust, Gurdwara Gursagar Sahib, near Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh.
Additionally, the committee has requested that all leaders who received recruitment booklets before April 30 and have already filled them should bring them along to the meeting. This is to help speed up the digitization process of the membership campaign.
