Ravneet Bittu lashes out at Sukhbir Badal for visiting Rajoana’s sister

Ludhiana MP Mr Ravneet Singh Bittu today lashed out at the Shiromani Akali Dal preisent Sukhbir Singh Badal for his stand in favour of Shaheed Sardar Beant Singh Murder case convict Balwant Singh Rajoana and said that it has exposed his real face. He said that the Akalis have stood with the murderers and it has shown their real mentality amongst the peace loving Punjabis.

In a press statement issued here today, Mr Ravneet Singh Bittu stated that Sukhbir Singh Badal visited the house of Khalistani Balwant Singh Rajoana’s sister today. He said that the Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president Mr Gobind Singh Longowal has also announced to provide legal aid to Balwant Singh Rajoana has exposed real face of the Akalis.

“Thousands of people lost their lives during the dark days of terrorism in the state and the Akali stand in the favour of perpetrators of those crimes exposes their real face. It clearly shows that the Akalis led by Sukhbir Singh Badal have always supported such people, which is sad,” rued Mr Bittu.

He said that Sardar Beant Singh attained martyrdom safeguarding the rights of punjabis and for maintaining peace and communal harmony in Punjab.

“Sukhbir Singh Badal should explain what about the families of all those who died along with Sardar Beant Singh? It clearly shows that the Akalis do not care about all those who attained martyrdom with Sardar Beant Singh,” said Mr Ravneet Singh Bittu.
