Rapper Badshah releases his new song ‘Grandfather’

No matter what height and success a person achieve in his life if he is stuck deeply to his roots, that’s what makes the audience respect him more. All the artists don’t leave their roots and culture. And one such artist who despite achieving massive love and support from the audience all over the world, is Badshah.

Often in his songs, Badshah has proudly mentioned the fact that he is from Haryana and hasn’t forgotten that. Born to a man from Haryana, this time Badshah has released a Haryanvi song ‘Grandfather’, and it surely is something that everyone will be reminded of their grandfathers.

The song is purely and entirely in the language and even has been shot in the areas of Haryana.

The lyrics of the song have been penned by Raman Sisodia and music has been composed by Badshah himself. The teaser of the song has already been appreciated among audiences.


This is not the first time Badshah has released a Haryanvi song, prior to this his song ‘Chull’ and ‘Buzz’ have also Haryanvi rap.

The song ‘Chull’ not only gave a new level of boost to Haryanvi Industry but weave a path for this language in Bollywood also. Featuring in ‘Kapoor & Sons’ this song ruled the music charts for quite a long time.

Apart from his singing, he is all set to mark his acting debut with upcoming movie ‘Khandaani Shafakhana’ starring Sonakshi Sinha, Varun Sharma and veteran actor Annu Kapoor in pivotal roles. The director of the film is Shilpi Dasgupta. The film is majorly produced by T-Series and Mrighdeep Lamba. The film will hit the screens on 26th July 2019.

The song ‘Grandfather’ has already been released on the official YouTube channel of Badshah on 18th June 2019.
