Randhawa demands roll back of proposed service charge on Kartarpur pilgrims, slams ‘mute spectatators’ Harsimrat, Sukhbir

Chandigarh, September 16, 2019 (Yes Punjab News)

Urging the Modi Government to take up the issue of proposed Kartarpur pilgrim fee with Pakistan at the earliest, Punjab Cabinet Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa on Monday suggested that in case the fee was not waived off, the Centre should bear the cost to facilitate all those wanting to pay obesiance at the historic Gurdwara Sahib.

Lambasting the Akalis for trying to indulge in politicking over a sacred matter like this, Randhawa dared both Sukhbir and Harsimrat to at least once prevail over Modi and get this atrocious fee removed.

Badal clan vociferously claims to be the custodians of Sikh religion but when comes to fighting for the issues of the community they are the first ones to renegade, Randhawa stated.

Mincing no words, he said it was shameful that being part of Modi regime Badals had surrendered the interests of Sikh faith at the altar of power. If they are what they claim to be, both Badals should force the Centre to first get the fee scrapped and else make the Centre bear it, Randhawa added.

The momentous occasion of 550th Prakash Purb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was the one occasion we all were blessed to witness in our lives, Randhawa said adding all should be freely allowed to have khule Darshan deedar.
