Prominent farmer leader, President of Chandigarh unit of All India Jatt Mahasabha and National Delegate of Mahasabha S. Rajinder Singh Badheri today called on Punjab Cooperation Minister. He called on Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa at his residence in Chandigarh. He discussed issues related to development works and debt waiver cases of the farmers in Tehsil Kharar and Mohali.
Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, who is also S. Badheri’s very good friend, responded very well and immediately instructed the concerned authorities to settle all the remaining cases of loan waivers related to the cooperative banks immediately so that the beneficiary farmers of the area could get relief. .
S. Randhawa assured that every problem of the farmers of Punjab including this area would be solved immediately.
Mr. Badheri also raised the issue of development works related to village Khizrabad (Mohali) and requested to fill the vacancy of a member of Khizrabad Cooperative Agricultural Service Society. Minister Mr. Randhawa immediately spoke to the Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies in Mohali district and directed to take immediate action in this regard.
