Rahul’s Punjab visit a gimmick, he should have sought apology from Sikhs: Tarun Chugh

Chandigarh, Jan 28, 2022 (Yes Punjab News)
BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today termed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi visit to Golden Temple as an eyewash and an electoral gimmick.

He said Rahul should have sought an apology on behalf of his family for executing Operation Bluestar and the Sikh carnage in 1984.

Chugh said the Gandhi family had been protecting and shielding leaders like Kamal Nath, Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar who were responsible for anti-Sikh riots in Delhi.

Rahul owes an apology to Punjabis for the brutal mayhem against the Sikhs that the Congress workers led by the Gandhi family had caused in Delhi and other parts of the country.

Rahul’s Punjab visit, Chugh said, had also exposed that the Congress was a divided house as five senior MPs of the party boycotted him to express their resentment against his style of working. The Congress has failed Punjab miserably under the leadership of Gandhi family and was set to bite the dust in the coming Assembly elections, Chugh added.
