Actor Raghav Juyal has penned an emotional note of gratitude for his The Paradise co-star Nani, recalling how the Telugu star supported him during moments of confusion and emotional uncertainty.
Raghav, who plays one of the antagonists in Srikanth Odela’s recently released film, took to Instagram to express his admiration for Nani, whom he affectionately addressed as “Nani dada”.
“There are very few people in life who become your safe place without even knowing it. For me, Nani dada is one of those people,” Raghav wrote.
He said he had tried several times to express what Nani meant to him but felt that words could never fully capture his gratitude.
Describing Nani as someone he admired not only as an actor but also as a person, Raghav recalled periods in the film industry when he felt “completely lost”. He said Nani was consistently available to listen and offer perspective during such moments.
Raghav said Nani would sit with him for hours and discuss cinema, his career and life, while also listening to him without making him feel inadequate for being confused or emotional.
He credited those conversations with helping him understand the kind of films he wanted to make, the choices worth pursuing and, more importantly, the kind of person he wanted to remain while navigating his career.
“I admire your craft, your mind, your honesty, your kindness and, more than anything, the person you are when nobody is watching,” Raghav wrote.
He also thanked Nani for making space for him, answering his calls and being available whenever he felt overwhelmed. Raghav said some people mentor careers, while others provide emotional support, adding that Nani had done both for him.
“I love you, Nani dada. More than I probably ever say,” he concluded.
The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela and starring Nani in the lead, marks Raghav’s appearance in a prominent antagonist role.
