As Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal announced to give cashless health benefits at par with those being given to government employees to media persons as well across Haryana, accredited journalists from Punjabi newspapers thanked and expressed their gratitude towards the Chief Minister.
A delegation of media persons associated with Punjabi journalism met the Chief Minister and expressed their gratitude towards him.
Hardeep Kaur Virk, Senior Journalist and National President, Disha Mahila Kalyan Trust said that due to this important announcement made by Chief Minister, Haryana has become the first state to play a leading role in protecting the interests of journalists.
She said that this announcement of the Chief Minister is certainly going to benefit the media community at large.
The delegation included senior journalists, Sh. A.S Nagpal, Sh. Prem Singh and Sh Nav Narayan Singh Grewal.
