Chandigarh, Sept 20, 2020 (Yes Punjab News)
Terming the farm bills as ‘anti-farmer’, Punjab Youth Development Board Senior Vice Chairman Prince Khullar on Sunday slammed central government over the farm bills passed in Parliament.

Criticising the Central government, Khullar said that the three bills ‘The Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill 2020, the Farmers’ (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill 2020, and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Bill 2020 are deadly against the farmers and will destroy them.

Sharing details about the ill effect of the farm bills, Khullar said that the farm bill would do injustice to farmers and described these as part of the ‘Kisan maaru, Punjab maaru’ (Destroy Farmers, Destroy Punjab) conspiracy of the BJP-led NDA. These Ordinances effects peace and harmony of the state and brings unemployment and economic crisis, he added.

Commenting on Harsimrat Kaur Badal’s resigned from the Modi cabinet on the farmers’ bills, he said that Harsimrat’s resignation was just a part of BJP centre leadership script. Akali Dal, which always pretended itself as ‘saviour of farmers and farming’, was a party of opportunists.

He further said that the real face of Akali leadership had been exposed with their continuous betrayal with the farmers of the state and these farm bills will destroy the lives of labourers and we all strongly oppose these bills.

Talking about plight of farmers, he said the farmers of Punjab have been holding huge protests across the state. They want the bills to be withdrawn. Farmers at several places in Punjab burnt copies of farm bills and effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alleging that the bills related to the agriculture sector will destroy their livelihood.Yes Punjab Online Since 2012
