The court of Sh. Ajit Pal Singh Judge Special Court, Fazilka on 12.11.2025 convicted accused Angrej Singh @ Laddu and Ganesh Singh and sentenced them to undergo rigorous imprisonment for ten years alongwith fine of Rs.1,00,000/- each and in default thereof, to further undergo rigorous imprisonment for one year.
It is pertinent to mention that these accused were arrested alongwith 518 grams of herion on 28.01.2023.
The FIR was registered against them under Sections 21 & 29 of NDPS Act at Police Station Special Task Force, Mohali.
As per police record, the accused were involved in the trade of heroin and were waiting for the customer at bus stand Mahuana. The accused were apprehended on the secret information and when they were searched, the commercial quantity of heroin was recovered from their possession. Today, the accused have been jailed for ten years imprisonment alongwith fine.
