Punjab to revolutionise education system to provide quality and employment oriented education: Meet Hayer

Education minister of Punjab Mr Gurmeet singh Meet Hayer today announced that the Punjab government to bring revolutionary changes in whole education system of the state and for that chief minister of Punjab to approach the teachers , Principals and students so that their valuable suggestions could be used for education policy formation .

The minister said that the new education policy to be ensure quality and employment oriented education at government schools so that the children of economically weaker section would get suitable atmosphere to compete at international level .

The minister was reached here at village Dalla to congratulate the students Rajveer Momi and Sehajpreet singh at their homes for securing 100 % marks in class 5th result announced by the PSEB Mohali . Both students scored 100 % by bagging 500 marks out of 500.

He also delivered the invitation sent by Chief Minister Punjab Mr Bhagwant Mann to the parents of these toppers to especially honour them for their achievement.

Hailing the hardwork of Rajveer Momi and sehajpreet singh for securing second and third position across the state in 5th class across the state , the Minister visited the homes of both students and announces that the Punjab government would provide all possible help to these students to achieve their future goals .

Terming it the outcome of hard work by students and teachers , the minister said that the Punjab government would ensure that the brilliant students from government schools would get suitable facilities in encouraging atmosphere in schools to compete at global level.

He also made it clear that the transfers of teachers would only be made via online and there would no offline system for transfers.

The minister also has a detailed discussion with the teachers of Elementary school Dalla and he hailed their efforts to enable the students for securing the second and third position across the state . It may be mentioned here that both Rajveer momi and sehajpreet singh were the students of Elementary school Dalla.

Earlier the Deputy commissioner Mr Vishesh Sarangal , SSP Mr Rajbachan singh Sandhu, AAP Incharge of sultanpur lodhi assembly constituency Sajjan singh Cheema and AAP district president Gurpal singh welcomed the education minister .

A contingent of Punjab police also presented a Guard of Honour to the cabinet Minister on his maiden visit to the district .

Prominent amongst present on the occasion included MLA Ropar Dinesh Chadha, Rattan singh AAP leader , DEO Elementary Rampal singh , Deputy DEO Bikramjeet singh .
