Local Tehsildar Larson Singla has cracked the Union Public Service Commission’s Civil Services Examination saying the credit goes to hard work and constant support, motivation and blessings of his parents and grandparents for this achievement.
Hailing from Patran in Patiala district, Larson secured 936th rank in the UPSC CSE-2024. He said he was the first, who took and cleared this prestigious exam in the family as his grandfather has been a teacher while father is also a teacher and now doing the social services in Patran. He said the dream of his parents to be an IAS will come true as he cracked this exam. He also thanked his teachers and seniors for their guidance and cooperation.
Meanwhile, Larson Singla called on Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain, who extended congratulation to him for bringing laurels to family, friends and relatives. Larson said Hoshiarpur is also very lucky for him as he was posted here recently. He cracked this exam in sixth attempt and termed it a tough one but could be cleared with hard work, firm commitment and proficiency in a wide range of subjects.
