Acting swiftly on the complaint received from Secretary Regional Transport Authority Amritsar and Ludhiana, the State Transport Commissioner has immediately suspended the rights given as Special Registering Authority temporarily to four motor dealership firms based in these cities.
Disclosing this here today a Spokesperson of the Transport Department informed that the action had been initiated against dealership firms of M/s Novelty Hyundai GT Road Amritsar, M/s Aryan Hyundai Majithia-Verka Byepass, Amritsar and PNR Motors Pvt. Ltd. Amritsar and M/s. Stan Autos Pvt. Ltd. Ludhiana after receiving the complaints of tax evasion causing substantial loss to the state revenue. He said that these defaulter firms had violated the terms and conditions of the state Government’s notification no. 8/1/98-1T2/1107 dated June 28, 2011, due to which this action was taken by the competent authority.
