With a vision to encourage youth’s participation in the development and progress of the state, Department of Sports & Youth Services, Punjab is organizing a two day ‘Punjab State Youth Festival-2020’ at Chandigarh University, Gharuan on January 30 and 31, 2020.
Chief Minister, Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh will inaugurate State level Youth Festival on January 30, 2020 at 12:00 pm. While well known Actor and senior congress leader Mr. Raj Babbar would be presiding over the Closing Ceremony on January 31, 2020 at 3:00 pm.
Devaluing this here today Punjab Sports, Youth Services and NRIs affairs Minister Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi said that the Punjab State Youth Festival-2020 aims to recognize the contribution of Youth towards the development of State as the government of Punjab is conferring Eminent Youth Personality with Punjab Youth Icon awards which will be given by Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on January 30, 2020.
Cabinet Minister said that during the State level Youth Festival more than 50 Start up established by Youth of Punjab and more than 50 innovative project developed by students of various colleges and Universities of Punjab would be displayed at Punjab Innovation and Startup Expo-2020 during the two days mega event.
Apart from this, career summit, defense exhibition, Punjab Heritage Exhibition- VIRSA and Talent Hunt competition would be organized.
The two days State Level Youth Festival will conclude on January 31, 2020 with Glorious Closing Ceremony. Live in concert by Bollywood Singer Mohan and Punjabi Singer Jordan Sandhu, Ninja, Noora Sister and other would be organized during the two days State level Youth Festival.
