The Punjab government has put restrictions on leave to be taken by IAS and PCS officers in the months of November and December.
A communication sent to all the IAS and PCS officers in the state sent today by IAS Branch said that the services of a significant number of IAS, PCS officrs would be required in the upcoming important events including Celebrations of 550th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji , in the months of November & December, 2019.
The letter said, it has been decided that no IAS, PCS officer will be allowed leave of more than 3 days at a time upto 10th of December, 2019, except in exceptional circumstances.
