Dr. Lakhwinder Johal was re-elected president and senior correspondent Major Singh was re-elected as General Secretary of Punjab Press Club, Jalandhar.
Those elected besides Dr. Johal and Major Singh include Mandeep Sharma Senior Vice President Rajesh Yogi Vice President, Paramjit Singh Rangpuri Joint Secretary and Shiv Sharma Treasurer.
Informing regarding the unanimous decision Election Observers Satnam Singh Manak, IP Singh, Ashwani Khurana and Ashok Anuj said, though four other candidates had filed nominations for some posts on the last day of nominations i.e. 27th of May but they agreed to take back their nominations paving way for a unanimous decision.
Dr. Lakhwinder Johal thanked all the members of the Club on behalf of his newly elected team and assured all the members that he would continue to work for the betterment of club and for the welfare of all the members.
