The Punjab Government has ordered the transfers and postings of 5 IPS officers including SSPs of Muktsar and Tarn Taran.
Harmanbir Singh Gill, SSP of Muktsar has been transferred as was promised to members of the Bar Council yesterday.
Faridkot IG Sh. Ajay Maluja has also been transferred.
Gurmeet Singh Chauhan, SSP Tarn Taran has also been transferred. AAP MLA Manjinder Singh Lalpura had opposed the working style of the SSP and written a Facebook post against him.
It has also been mentioned in the orders that orders regarding the posting of Harmanbir Singh Gill and Gurmeet Singh Chauhan would be issued separately.
