The Punjab Government has ordered the promotion of two IPS officers to the rank of Inspector General of Police.
According to an order issued in this respect, Sh. Kaustabh Sharma, IPS has been promoted to the rank of IGP with immediate effect.
Sh. Dinesh Partap Singh IPS has been granted Proforma Promotion to the rank of IGP from the date his junior gets promoted in the state, and the actual benefits of promotion would be admissible to him when he actually joins his duties in the state government.
The above said officers will get on completion of Phase IV Mandatory Mid Careers Training Program as observed by the screening committee.
