Initial investigations have revealed that Lucky and Sukhpreet Buddha of Moga helped Yadvinder arrange these weapons from Uttar Pradesh. Police are in touch with their counterpart in Meerut (U.P.) to ascertain the weapon source.

Yadvinder and his associates have been actively involved in running an extortion racket in the industrial area of Baddi and Nalagarh (H.P.). Their targets have been wine contractors, toll plazas and metal kabadias. On several occasions, Yadvinder has also acted as a courier to carry drugs and contrabands from Amritsar to Ambala on the Rinda’s directions.

This is one of the last remaining major gangs left in Punjab. They have hideouts in Pinjore, Mohali and Ambala.
