Punjab Cabinet Minister Aman Arora today chaired a high-level review meeting with district officials to assess the progress of ongoing development works in the Sunam Assembly constituency.
The meeting was held at the District Administrative Complex, Sangrur, in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Rahul Chaba, where the Cabinet Minister issued clear directions to ensure strict adherence to Punjab Government guidelines and timely completion of all projects within the deadlines.
During the meeting, a comprehensive review of multiple departments was undertaken, including Public Works, Panchayati Raj, Health, Education, Rural Development, Sewerage Board, PSPCL, Animal Husbandry, Forest Department, Transport, and Municipal Council.
Emphasizing the vision of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Cabinet Minister urged all officials to work with dedication and coordination to transform Sunam into one of the leading constituencies of Punjab in terms of infrastructure and public services.
He also reviewed the status of key development works such as roads, libraries, playgrounds, panchayat ghars, ponds, underground pipelines, water supply schemes, and trauma centres. Directing the executing agencies, he stressed the need for regular monitoring and accountability.
“Any negligence in the quality of development works will not be tolerated,” the Cabinet Minister asserted, calling for strict supervision at all levels.
Among those present were Additional Deputy Commissioner Sukhchain Singh Papra, SDM Sangrur Satish Chandra, SDM Sunam Gagandeep Singh, SDM Bhawanigarh Manjeet Kaur, along with Executive Engineers and heads of various departments.
