Punjab loses another renowned educationist, Dr JS Dhaliwal passes away

Founder President, Punjab Unaided Technical Institutions Association (PUTIA); Chancellor, Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo; Chairman, BIS, Moga & Vice Chairman SUS, Tangori, Mohali, Dr. J. S. Dhaliwal took his last breath at Paras hospital Mohali, yesterday after his prolonged illness.

While giving more information to media, S. Manjit Singh, Senior Vice President, PUTIA & Dr. Anshu Kataria, President, Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) & Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges said that we are Deeply saddened by his demise as he was an epitome of integrity and exceptional administrator and was admired by all. A prayer meeting was held today to condole sad demise of Dr. Dhaliwal, Where all JAC (Joint Association of Colleges) members paid rich tribute & prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.

During the prayer meeting, S. Satnam Singh Sandhu, Dr. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal & S. Jagjit Singh said that the demise of Dr. Dhaliwal has triggered a wave of shock and grief in entire education fraternity of Punjab. He would be forever remembered as a pioneer of technical education in Punjab. Not only this, he showed path to many educationist & helped them to consistently run their University or Colleges.

In the condolence meeting, JAC members including S. Nirmal Singh, ETT Federation; S. Jasnik Singh, B.Ed Association, Punjabi University Patiala; Dr. Satvinder Sandhu, B.Ed Association, GNDU; Mr. Vipin Sharma, Federation of Punjab Unaided Institutions; S. Sukhmander Singh Chattha, Punjab Unaided Degree Colleges Association; Mr. Shimanshu Gupta, ITI Association; Sardar Rajinder Singh Dhanoa, Polytechnic Association were present.
