Punjab Government has forwarded a panel of 3 Punjab cadre IPS officers for appointment as SSP of Chandigarh to UT Administration.
This comes after Punjab Cadre IPS officer Kuldeep Singh Chahal was unceremoniously removed from the coveted post even as he had a tenure of nearly 9 moths left.
The three names of IPS officers forwarded included Akhil Chaudhary, Sandeep Kumar Garg and Bhagirath Singh Meena.
Chaudhary and Garg are 2012 batch officers while Meena is an officer of the 2013 batch.
