The Punjab Government has ordered the suspension of six Tehsildars and eight Naib Tehsildars with immediate effect. The 14 Revenue Officers have been proceeding against for major punishment under Rue 8 of the Punja Civil Services (Punjishment and Appeal) Rules, 1970.
During the Suspension period the headquarter of the suspended officers has been fixed at Financial Commissioner (Revenue) Office, Punjab Civil Secretariat, Chandigarh.
