His excellence the Governor of Punjab visited Bhavans Aashray a unique 3 in one Sewa project under “Meet and Greet” programme
Hon’ble governor spared his valuable time to visit and observe BhavansAashray—the 3 in one Sewa Project a home for senior citizens, abandoned girls and rehabiliation and vocational centre for PWD persons with disabilities on Dec 20,2021. Commissioner of police Dr. Sukhchain Singh Gill (IPS), Deputy Commissioner Shri Gurpreet Singh Khaira, Chairman Improvement trust Shri Damandeep Singh and Counsellor Shri Rajesh Madan graced the occasion.
He praised the shelter after observation and complemented by saying that it is a wonderful project which is initiated to give new life with hope. He further added that BhavansAashray is the first of its kind 3 in one centre , in Punjab providing shelter to three classes of people under one roof. He also appreciated the innovative thinking for the welfare of the society and applauded this commendable approach and showered his blessings for its success. He considered Bhavans work as God’s work.He also honoured the CBSE awardees.
The Hon’ble Governor then proceeded to Wagah Border and enjoyed the Retreat Ceremony. The Hon’ble Governor also interacted with the BSF personnel. Apart from SSP Rural Mr. Rakesh Kaushal, SDM Mr. Rajesh Sharma other officers were also present on the occasion.
