In an unprecedented move, Punjab Congress leader Kuljit Singh Nagra today announced his resignation from Punjab Vidhan Sabha against passage of farmer bills by the NDA government.
Nagra, who is Congress MLA from Fatehgarh Sahinb constituency tweeted his decision to resign in ‘support of farmer’s cause.”
Considered close to Rahul Gandhi he was recently appointed Permanent Invitee and Incharge of Sikkim, Tripura and Nagaland by AICC working president Sonia Gandhi.
