To sensitize general public regarding electoral verification program meeting of State Level SWEEP Coordination core Committee was held today under the chairmanship of Chief electoral officer Punjab Dr. S. Karuna Raju at Chief Electoral Office, Punjab.
Officers of School Education, Technical Education, Local Government, Rural Development and Panchayats, e-Governance Society, Punjab, Social Security Woman and Child Development, Information & Public Relations, Youth services, Director Sports, Cultural Affairs, Director Health and Family Welfare, DPI (Colleges), DPI (Secondary) and DPI (Elementary), were present in the meeting.
While addressing the meeting Dr. Raju said that objective of the meeting was to aware the voters regarding electoral verification program. He further said that BLOs were verifying details of registered voters through home to home visits. Otherwise voters can verify their credentials through election commission website NVSP, Mobile app Voter helpline, common service centre’s (CSC) And ERO office.
Dr Raju instructed all the officers to ensure that all the employees of their departments were verifying the voter credentials online.
