PUDA & Other Authorities to auction properties from July 1

Chandigarh, June 29, 2019 (Yes Punjab News)

PUDA and all other Special Development Authorities viz. GMADA, PDA, GLADA, ADA, JDA & BDA working under the Housing & Urban Development Department will put up various properties under their jurisdiction across the State on e-auction commencing from 01-07-2019.

Disclosing this here today, a spokesperson of Housing & Urban Development department revealed that the e-auction would conclude on 10-07-2019. He said that

Institutional properties to the nature of hotel, group housing, commercial chunk, school, besides smaller commercial sites (SCFs, Booths, SCOs, Built-up booths, double storey shops etc.) and residential plots located at Mohali, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Bathinda, Amritsar, Patiala, Abohar, Faridkot, Malout, Gurdaspur, Mukerian, Phagwara, Nabha, Phillaur and Mansa have been listed for auction.

Under jurisdiction of GMADA, industrial plots located in IT City, besides other commercial properties such as booths, SCOs, SCF, SSS, and residential plots situated in different sectors of SAS Nagar & industrial plots of Rajpura would be available for bidding.

He further said that the Development Authorities would hand over the sites to the allottees after completing all the development works. Possession shall be given within 90 days from issuance of allotment letter, the spokesperson disclosed. Handing over early possession of developed sites would enable the allottees to start immediate construction and subsequently use the site for the purpose, be it residential or commercial, he said.

Vini Mahajan, Additional Chief Secretary, Housing & Urban Development-cum-Vice Chairperson, PUDA revealed that this would be 13th e-auction being conducted by the Authorities. All the earlier e-auctions have proved to be a great success, she said.
