Bollywood stars Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor have paid heartfelt tributes to legendary singer Dolly Parton, who died at the age of 80 on August 25. Parton’s death was announced by her nephew Bryan Seaver in an emotional video shared on her official social media account.
Priyanka shared a clip of Parton from an earlier interview and wrote, “You’re never going anywhere… forever with us… rest in peace #DollyParton.”
Kareena, meanwhile, shared several posts remembering the country music icon. In one, she posted a picture of Parton with the words, “My Girl Love you forever You Diva.”
In another tribute, Kareena shared a quote attributed to Parton that read, “The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you got to put up with the rain,” and captioned it, “Ufff Queen things.”
Kareena also shared another picture of Parton accompanied by a message about creating a legacy that inspires others to dream, learn, do more and become more. She wrote, “Leader forever.”

Born in Tennessee in 1946, Parton rose from humble beginnings to become one of the most celebrated figures in music and entertainment. Her career produced iconic songs including “Jolene”, “9 to 5” and “I Will Always Love You”.
