India’s Pranavi Urs carded her third consecutive sub-par round but slipped out of the top 10 to finish the moving day tied-15th at the rain-affected 2026 KPMG Women’s Irish Open at The K Club.
The Mysuru professional shot a two-under 70 on Saturday to take her 54-hole total to seven-under 209 (69-70-70), with the final round remaining on Sunday.
Pranavi, the only Indian to make the cut after Diksha Dagar, Tvesa Malik and Avani Prashanth failed to advance, endured a fluctuating start in wet conditions on the Palmer South Course.
The Hero-supported golfer opened with consecutive birdies on the second and third holes but immediately gave those shots back with bogeys on the fourth and fifth. She responded with a birdie on the seventh and added another on the 10th before closing with eight successive pars for a 70.
South Africa’s Casandra Alexander strengthened her grip on the tournament with a three-under 69, moving to 18-under overall and retaining a three-shot lead after a 45-minute rain delay.
The 27-year-old, who leads the Ladies European Tour Order of Merit and is ranked 38th in the world, began with a 33 on the front nine. After play resumed, she made six straight pars before birdieing the 16th and dropping a shot on the 17th.
Czech Republic’s Sara Kouskova is second at 15-under after a bogey-free 67 featuring three birdies and an eagle on the seventh.
Sweden’s Kajsa Arwefjall produced the round of the tournament so far, firing a nine-under 63 with eight birdies and an eagle on the 10th to move into contention.
Home favourite Leona Maguire also shot 63, featuring nine birdies, to climb to 12-under and a share of sixth. Her score, like Arwefjall’s, will not count as an official course record because preferred lies were in place.
