PAU Young Writers association organizes session with Poet: Dr. G. S. Buttar

The Young Writers’ Association, PAU, Ludhiana under the guidance of Dr. G. S. Buttar, Director Students Welfare, PAU, organized an interactive session, “Ru-B-Ru” with renowned poet and PAU alumnus, S. Jagjit Sandhu on 16th August, 2022. Dr. Devinder Dilroop, President, Young Writers’ Association, while introducing Mr Sandhu congratulated the author for publishing his 4th Punjabi poetry book, “Hun Tyai”, analysed and presented by S Gurtej Koharwalla.

The Student members of Young Writers’ Association, PAU recited poems, songs, tappe and ghazals from the book. Mr. Sandhu also recited his ghazal and shared his memories of student life in PAU. This was followed by an interactive session cum discussion among the guest writer, young writers and other literary personalities. Prabhjot Sohi coordinated the programme. At the end of the function, Mr Sandhu thanked Young Writers’ Association, PAU for the successful conduct of the programme and distributed plants to the participants of the evening.
