PAU student Dimple Mandla bags Best Poster Award

Ms Dimple Mandla, a Ph.D student of the Department of Zoology, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), won the “Best Poster Award” for the paper entitled “The Indian gerbil, Tatera indica as reservoir of arthropod vectors and their risk in transmission of diseases to humans and animals.”

She received the award during the 10th National Seminar on “Agriculture and More: Beyond 4.0” organised by the Society for Community Mobilization for Sustainable Development, New Delhi in collaboration with Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agriculture Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) of Kashmir, Srinagar. The conference was held at SKUAST, Srinagar from May 26-28, 2022.

Dr Neena Singla and Dr Sukhmanpreet Kaur Brar from the Department of Zoology, PAU, Ludhiana and Dr LD Singla from the Department of Veterinary Parasitology, GADVASU, Ludhiana are the co-authors of the paper presented.

Dr Shammi Kapoor, Dean, College of Basic Sciences and Humanities; Dr Sandeep Bains, Dean, Postgraduate Studies and Dr Neena Singla, Head, Department of Zoology congratulated the student for this achievement.
